Rickmansworth Nursery School has been established for over 30 years and serves families from the surrounding area. It is situated in Scotsbridge Pavilion which backs onto Scotsbridge playing fields and the Chess valley.

At Rickmansworth Nursery School we believe in the importance of play, both indoors and outdoors, in young children’s learning. We support and uphold the principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) in believing that the environment plays a key role in supporting and extending children’s development and learning. We aim to have a balance of adult led activities and children’s self chosen play to promote this learning through sustained thinking and conversation. We consider individual children’s backgrounds and diverse needs to ensure that each child receives an enjoyable, challenging and high achievement learning experience.

The nursery is now closed for the summer break. We wish all the children who are going to school and other nurseries the very best for their futures.
The nursery reopens on Tuesday 6th September at 9am.
